An illustrated history of NZ buses built by the British commercial vehicle manufacturer AEC, famous, amongst other things for its iconic London double-deckers. Between 1914 and 1977, AEC supplied 545 new bus & coach chassis to NZ. A further 19 AEC’s were imported second-hand. The book is organised alphabetically by operator, featuring all those who bought new AEC’s. More than 130 photographs are reproduced, the great majority of which have never previously been published.
